Professor Pavel Studený is a leading Czech ophthalmologist. He specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery, corneal transplants, laser procedures, and refractive surgery. He also served as a specialist consultant at the SOMICH Eye Clinic in the Karlovy Vary Region, which became part of the Lexum network of eye clinics.

He graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, passed his first certification exam in 1996, and continued his education in the following years. In 2024, he was appointed professor of surgical disciplines at Charles University.

Professor Studený is a member of the Czech Ophthalmological Society (ČOS), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), and a member of the committee of the Czech Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ČSRKCH).
