Cornea Day

Basic info about the event

Cornea Day is a traditional professional conference organized in cooperation with the CSRCS, the FNKV Eye Clinic, and experts from leading clinical centers. The event focuses on issues related to the cornea and the anterior segment of the eye and has long been one of the most important educational events in the field of ophthalmology.

Each year, the Cornea Day program offers a series of professional lectures, case studies, and discussions that reflect current trends and advances in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases. Participants are regularly introduced to new developments in corneal surgery, modern surgical techniques, and treatment options for keratoconus, corneal dystrophy, and other diseases of the anterior segment. The event also includes presentations on complications and their solutions, as well as the sharing of clinical experiences from practice.

The conference is intended for ophthalmologists who wish to further their education in the field of corneal medicine. Participation in the event is accredited in accordance with professional regulations and provides participants with credits as part of their continuing education.

Cornea Day also represents a unique opportunity for experts from across the Czech Republic to meet and exchange experiences. The conference environment facilitates discussion of complex clinical cases, the establishment of new professional contacts, and the sharing of knowledge across the field.

Cornea Day traditionally takes place in December of each year. Information about the current year, registration, program, and organizational instructions are regularly published on the official website of the event.
